 Pakistan may face slow internet service on Thursday:


Pakistan telecommunication authority PTA issued a notification that internet may face the slow internet service on Thursday due to the fault in international submarine cable #SWM4, the team will be work on this issue on 21st April 2022 to resolve the international submarine internet disruption. The team will be work to resolve this issue because internet is a basic need now a days.


Slow internet:


Pakistan may face slow internet due to fault in international submarine SWM4. During the maintenance the Pakistan telecommunication authority PTA announced to give alternate way to provide internet to their customers, so because of this alternate internet users can be complete their work, But this alternative internet is not so fast like international submarine cable internet.


International submarine may have 20,000km long which is the main internet provider cable between east to west. International submarine cable SWM4 attached with 14 countries. SWM4 have consist of 2 fiber networks which was the capacity of 1.28Tb and then it was upgraded to 4.6 Tbps in 2015.


Past internet Interruptions:


As we know, in past few months January 2022 the international submarine cable SWM4 face the problem and disturb millions of internet users and also in December the internet users was faced the slow performance internet. Our department are working on this to permanently solve this problem because the international submarine is playing a very important role to give internet in Pakistan. If it faces many distractions then how people can trust to this internet service. We know that most of the peoples is working online.  Some of them are small businesses and some are large businesses so they cant bear this interruption in to their business. Because of this they may be face many loses. So the PTA will provide alternative service to fulfill their need.
